Emma Rose's Entry :
Spell Name : Pike Hard Transfiguration
Reason : I invented this Transfiguration spell because it can help me in my practical life.
Use : The target for the transfiguration can be Iron, Wood, Brick, Steel, etc. Any hard like material. Doesn't work on soft material or fabric. Cannot be used on wands. The nature of the spell is to transfigure an object or materials into a pike. Which is a medieval Halberd weapon. Akin to a battle-axe. The pike can be of the size that accommodates the caster.
Spell Goals : The target for the transfiguration can be Iron, Wood, Brick, Steel, etc. Any hard like material. Doesn't work on soft material or fabric. Cannot be used on wands. The nature of the spell is to transfigure an object or materials into a pike. Which is a medieval Halberd weapon. Akin to a battle-axe. The pike can be of the size that accommodates the caster. However, the failure of this transfiguration results in a Halberd that looks like a complete mess. The effect of this weapon is to block projectile magic. However, it stores that magic at the end of the Halberd once before the caster launches it back. Beginners aren't able to fully launch the charged spell, novice casters are able to launch the charged spell back with only minimal power, experts are able to launch the charged spell at full force. This particular feature works only once on this transfigured item before it becomes just an ordinary medieval weapon. Depending on the strength of the caster, the launched spell from the Halberd may be a little more powerful. The axe of the Halberd glows various Gradient colors to signify it has stored a blocked projectile spell. The spell can be blocked by Protego and Finite Incantatum removes the charged spell from the Halberd.
Incantation : Lupus Magicae
Origin : Latin
Wand Movement : Tap on the target twice
Willpower and Concentration : Willpower - Moderate to High, Concentration - High
Angela Rao's Entry
Spell Name : The Anti Red Cap Spell
Reason : I invented this spell as I had seen many people being afraid of red caps, and I'm sure we will learn it in Defense Against the Dark Arts too.
Use : The spell, when cast shall repel red caps away, and make them running off in the opposite direction, due to the smell that the spell basically generates is the weakness for them, as they cannot sense the smell, they run away, without having a second thought.
Spell Goals : My goal for the spell is to repel red caps from the smell that it generates. It is better cast in a moist environment that leaves smell open to avoid spell failure, but in danger, if the smell does not work, it even generates blood for it to suck. It is basically a dwarf like creature, which is hardly five feet tall. It bays for human blood.
Incantation : rauðrkakara
Origin : Old Norse
Wand Movement : A point at the red cap's cap
Willpower and Concentration : Medium(Willpower) Low to High ; depends on quantity of red caps
Abby Potter's Entry
Spell Name : Mind Linking Spell
Reason : I realized that there are situations people need to be able to read someone's mind for one don't know what another person is plotting against one. Then I decided to invent it.
Use : It links a person's mind with another'
Spell Goals : To be able to know what someone is thinking of.
Incantation : Meddwl dolen
Origin : Welsh
Wand Movement : Move the wand in a wave like pattern
Willpower and Concentration : Will power: low, the color should be a light blue almost white Concentration: high, on the light forming and the effects of the spell being cast.
Effects : You'll feel daze and almost like your ghost is leaving your body but you're actually just entering the person's mind. You can only know what the person is thinking of currently since the spell only lasts for 3 minutes.
Notes : It takes a lot of mental strength and once done one will feel drained out since it felt like one was almost about to die. If you know you can't invade others privacy, even though it is not, you're advised not to use it. Remember: Practice makes perfect.
Thank You for Trying Out!
Sincerely,
Prof. Williams
